So, here's the debate that's causing the raging, the Playstation Death vs Xbox Juan. I prefer the PS4 but I'm not going all fanboy, I want to give you guys the facts and let you decide.
Starting with Hardware:
Let's start with the Playstation 4; It uses an AMD combining 8 Jaguar cores and a Radeon Graphics processor, it runs on a 6x Blu-ray drive and 8G of GDDR5 Ram along with 500G of Hard Drive. The new Dualshock 4 controller has a touch screen and a button for easy footage upload, it also has improved design for handling and a headphone jack for online chat. The new light bar acts similar to the playstation move, it interfaces with the Playstation eye for movement and colour for local-play. the controller itself has been given easier handle bars and joysticks and start buttons have been moved farther up.
The new Peripheral Eye uses two cameras much like the Kinect and 4 mics.
And let's look at what the Xbox One has for us: The Xbox One uses an AMD 8 core processor chip of 2 Quad-core Jaguar Modules and 500 GB HDD Storage. It will also be using a Blu-Ray drive and 8 GB of RAM (3 for system and 5 for games). The new controller will have a curved design for easier handling and triggers with built in "rumble system" It also is sporting the concave design like the PS4 with it's joysticks. The new Kinect comes equipped with wide range and IR cameras allowing it to see in the dark, the camera software has been improved to sense gestures like the movement of fingers and reacts on voice command.
So now you're updated let's take a look at the Software:

The Playsation 4 software hasn't been talked about much, though it seems fairly compact and organized for friends viewing. Profile pic and info to your left and gamer stats to the right. The OS itself is much like the PS3 but has the blocky look of Windows 8, it's ordered in horizontal groups which expands and translates to the lower right. The added share button on the Dualshock 4 Controller let's you instantly share gameplay and images, you can also live stream through Uplay straight from the PS4. The PS4 uses background downloading to update software and games when the Hardware is turned off. The PS4 will be able to play while another person is watching TV by using the PS Vita Remote-play. A speculation is that the PS4 doesn't use DRM and still uses the easy-to-share disc.

The Xbox OS has been combined with a Windows OS to allow it to Multitask between gaming and TV without loss of performance. The program allows you to easily switch between TV, Apps, and Gaming. The Xbox One is able to start up instantly and download updates as you play. A learning AI watches how you play so when you have to take a break the AI starts playing based on your skill. Games are always online and work in live time though require internet to be able to play. Xbox One will be selling games online that will require a systems license and a user license (gamer-tag and console) to be able to run. The DRM has had speculation that it will interfere games when online connection is lost and for player that do not have internet. (^^This part I will have to apologize for any information that is missing, internet traffic of this topic was too busy to find any more
solid information.)
