Dancing under the Red Star

I started reading this book when i was bored and went downstairs to find a book, and found Dancing Under the Red Star, mainly because it was the only book not about parenting and baby names. The following is what the book has on the back;

"The shocking and inspirational saga of Margaret Werner and her miraculous survival in the Siberian death camps of Stalinist Russia." - Karl Tobien, Dancing under the red star

This book is about an American girl who's family moves to Russia, but one day, her father was falsely arrested for political crimes. A number of years later, after the second wold war, the same men in the same car show up at her measly apartment, which she shares with her mother, and they arrest her, charge her with espionage, and other political felonies, is moved to the Gorky prison. From there she is sent to many of the Stalin's labor camps, but is the suddenly to be transported to a Siberian death camp. There, she must learn to survive the harsh cold, and the bitter attitudes of prisoners around her and finish her ten years to get out alive.
